Middle School (6-8)
At FCCS, we recognize the importance of the middle school years as a critical period of growth and development. These years are foundational for building independence, responsibility, and a strong academic and spiritual foundation. Our middle school program is designed to guide students through this unique time with a supportive Christian environment and a commitment to excellence.
Our curriculum primarily uses Abeka resources, ensuring a Christ-centered education that emphasizes mastery of core academic skills in Math, English, History, Science, and Bible. Through these materials, students develop critical thinking skills and a biblical worldview, preparing them for high school and beyond.
In addition to academics, FCCS middle school students engage in a variety of activities and programs that nurture their individual talents and prepare them for future success. We emphasize career exploration and decision-making, helping students understand their strengths and interests, and begin to explore potential career paths. Electives include art, drama, music, and computer information systems, providing opportunities for creative expression and skill development. Extracurricular offerings like student government, fine arts, and community service projects cultivate leadership skills and a heart for service. Clubs such as Culinary, Creative Writing, and Drama further enhance opportunities for students to explore their interests and connect with peers.
By balancing academic rigor with faith development and life skills, our middle school program equips students to grow as confident learners and compassionate individuals, ready to transition into high school with a strong sense of purpose and identity in Christ.
