FCCS history

In 1993 Pastor Rick and Rebecca Van Wagner founded Family Christian Church in a small living room on a dirt road in Clermont, Florida. As the church began to grow, the vision to start a Christian school as an extension of the ministry of the church became a reality with a preschool that started in August of 2004. Since that day the school has grown exponentially becoming a fully accredited, award winning school with certified and licensed teachers serving ages 6 weeks to 12th grade. The vision continues to grow through the addition of dual enrollment college programs and a 60,000 sq ft campus expansion coming for the 2027-2028 school year.
